Day 01: Arrival in Muscat

Day 02: Muscat – Sur - Ibra ( Wahiba Sands )

Day 03: Wahiba Sands – Nizwa – Jebel Akhdar

At 08.00hr leave from hotel and depart by 4wd vehicles to Wahiba Sands via the scenic and rugged coastal route. This tour offers breathtaking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman of offset by pristine white beaches.

We then proceed to the Bimmah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. On clear sunny days while driving along the coast one might chance to see sharks in the deep blue water or fleet footed Gazelles sprint across the landscape. Visit Wadi Tiwi for photo stop. Tiwi is a lovely place with total harmony with nature.

The mausoleum of Bibi Miriam (photo stop ) at Qalhat stands as testimony of a bygone era. As we continue from here the road winds through mountain terrain offering breathtaking glimpses of the ocean. Reach Sur and visit Dhow Factory.

After a lunch stop in Sur, continue to Wahiba Sands, a vast of undulating red and White Sea of Sand and dunes rising up 200 meters, which are, also host a variety of flora and fauna. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. Experience a roller coaster aver the dunes.

Day 04: Jebel Akhdar – Muscat

Enjoy breakfast in the desert, then at 08.30h depart to Nizwa, capital of the interior, is the birthday of islam in Oman. Nizwa boasts of the famous Round Tower For, built in the 17th century, and its Souq renowned for its Friday cattle auction, intricately hand-carved “khanjars” ( daggers) & ornamental silver jewelry.

After lunch, we proceed to the pretty village of Birkat Al Mauz. Enjoy a walk through the lush green date plantations. Then to Wadi Al Madeen, from here a 36 klm stretch of winding road takes one to Jebel Al Akhdar ( 2000 m. above sea level ) the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly spot in the Arabian Peninsula. Enjoy the cool climate up in the mountains. Jebel Akhdar is famed for its fruit orchards typically laid out terrace style along the  slopes of mountains which are endowed with natural springs and aflaj. The village of Saiq, Wadi bani habib ( the village of the old houses ) & Al Ain dot the landscape.

Day 05:

After breakfast, leave back towards Muscat, which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to witness a modern commercial centre existing in harmony with its traditional culture. Muscat means “Anchorage” & lies in a natural volcanic bowl. Our tour starts with the Grand Mosque ( except Friday ) , then along the waterfront Corniche visiting the fish market & the colourful Muttrah Souq. We proceed for a photo stop to the magnificent Al Alam Palace, official palace of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos flanked by the Oman’s most famous forts stand at the entrance to Muscat bay Mirani & Jalali, the fort offers a wealth of insights into Oman’s rich heritage and culture and was restored and converted into a museum in the reign of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said .

After lunch stop as local restaurant we proceed to Marina Bandar Al Rawdha for your boat trip through coastal area and envoy Sea Sunset. Check-in at your hotel & overnight   ( Dress code : ladies fully covered and carry a head scarf, men in trousers )

Day 06: Departure transfer to back home
